Campbell's is launching Goldfish Gluten Free, the first gluten-free version of its cheese crackers. The company announced it on August 11, 2026. The crackers start rolling out to retailers nationwide in November.

Campbell's calls it "one of the most requested innovations in Goldfish history." It follows Mars, which launched a gluten-free Cheez-It earlier in 2026.

"Brands often use "gluten-free" labeling to imply a healthier formulation, but it's unlikely for Goldfish."

What we know so far

It comes in one flavor, cheddar, in a 5-ounce package. The suggested retail price is $4.99.

Campbell's says the crackers are "Certified Gluten Free." It hasn't said which organization certifies them.

Campbell's also says they're baked, made with real cheese and have no artificial colors or preservatives. It hasn't published the ingredient list or said what flour replaces wheat, and it hasn't named stores.

What it means if you eat gluten-free

Regular Goldfish aren't gluten-free, so check that the package says "Gluten Free" before you buy. When it reaches shelves, read the ingredient list and allergen statement, or scan the package with Trash Panda to see how it rates.
