Little Spoon, the baby and kids' food brand, launched Dolphin Divers, its first breakfast cereal, on October 27, 2026. It's sold only at Target stores nationwide.

Target asked for it. Inc. reports that Target approached Little Spoon after deciding to stop selling cereals made with artificial colors. Target set the end of May 2026 as its deadline.

Cereal makers are removing dyes too. General Mills removed artificial dyes from Lucky Charms and Trix in August.

Target's dye rule opened up cereal shelf space for a brand that never used dyes. We'd like to see more retailers do this.

What's in Dolphin Divers

It comes in three flavors: Cinnamon Wave, Fruity Splash and Deep Sea Cocoa. Little Spoon says it's made for kids ages 4 and up.

The base is organic whole grain oats and pea protein, for 7 grams of protein per serving. It's sweetened only with date powder and maple syrup.

Little Spoon says it has 33% less sugar than leading kids' cereal brands. It hasn't said which brands it compared, or published the grams of sugar per serving.

The brand says the cereal is USDA Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free and seed oil-free, with no artificial flavors or colors. It hasn't said what gives Fruity Splash its color.

Inc. reports a 7-ounce box costs $8.99.

Who makes it

Little Spoon launched in 2017 selling fresh baby food online. It now also sells kids' snacks and frozen breakfast foods at Target, H-E-B, Wegmans and Harris Teeter. Inc. reports it passed Gerber at Target within a year of arriving there.
