Halloween Candy Picks

Before we all know it, it’ll be Halloween night and you’re going to be in need of some TP-approved candies to hand out (or keep for yourself, we won’t tell). So just in time, we’re updating our list with some new products and high-quality brands to up your candy game. It may be hard to believe, but candies made with real ingredients do exist.

Let's talk about what to look for and what to avoid when shopping for Halloween candy this year. The first thing to always look out for when it comes to candy is the amount of added sugars. Although we're not trying to avoid sugar altogether (it's candy!), if you can find options made with honey or coconut sugar that's ideal. It's definitely better to have a little sugar than to opt for sugar-free options made with sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners. The next thing to look out for is Artificial Flavorings and Colors. These are commonly found in the most popular candies on the market and are ingredients made with chemicals to enhance flavor and color which can be addictive when consumed.

Be on the lookout for products with all-natural, and organic ingredients when shopping for candy this season!

To kick it off, these UNREAL Dark Chocolate Coconut Minis are sweetened with coconut and cane sugar. They are mouth-watering and won’t leave you with any of the negative effects you may feel with sugar alcohols such as maltitol or sorbitol!

Next, these Bear Fruit Rolls are our TP-approved swap for Fruit Roll-Ups. With no added sugar and 100% natural ingredients, there’s not much spooky about these!
