Pulses (60 %) (Red split lentils - Brown lentils Green split peas Yellow split peas) Pearl barley (40 %). ALLERGENS Wheat. Gluten Made in a factory which uses tree nuts & peanuts. . 500 g RECIPE SUGGESTION WINTER VEGETABLE & BACON SOUP Ingredients 2 carrots, diced 1 garlic clove, crushed 2 cups soup mix 12 cups vegetable stock 100 g Woolworth diced bacon salt and pepper to taste 2 celery sticks, diced 2 tbsps canola oil cup cream cup Italian parsley, chopped Method Heat canola oil in a pot and add carrots, celery sticks and garlic. Fry until soft. Add bacon and fry for a further 5 minutes. Add soup mix and vegetable stock and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately an hour or until cooked through and soft. Blend soup until chunky in texture. Add a little more stock if you prefer a thinner consistency. Add cream, chopped Italian parsley and season to taste. Serve with fresh bread.
