Hydrogenation in the process in which liquid unsaturated fats are turned into solid fat by adding hydrogen

Health Impact

Abundant in omega 6 fatty acids, throwing off our bodies healthy balance of omega 3 to 6 and leading to chronic inflammation. Hydrogenation creates trans fats, which are directly correlated to many health disorders such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, obesities, and allergy.
