There’s nothing quite as comforting as a warm pasta dinner. From pasta shape, sauce type, and beyond - we know you have a lot of options. This week, we’ve rounded up the products we love that are made with real ingredients. Some of them are classics, and others less traditional to truly elevate your pasta dishes.
For more product details and other Trash Panda updates, head on over to our Instagram.
365 Organic Whole Wheat Shells
We’re starting out classic: Whole Food’s organic whole wheat shells. There’s not much left to say about this pasta’s delicious shape and flavor. We think it has something to do with its four ingredient list! With no preservatives or chemical additives, you can taste why 365 is our first pick.
Jovial Cassava Fusilli
Jovial is a Trash Panda approved brand through and through - we can’t stop talking about their products. This grain free cassava fusilli is a must-try. Their other products (grain-free and not) are certainly welcomed on this list (we just didn’t have room for them!) Check out our brand spotlight on Jovial.
Trader Joe's Kale Gnocchi
When it comes to pasta alternatives, we know this can be a controversial topic. We’re not here to tell you to substitute your pasta - unless, of course, you want to. If this is the case or if you’re simply looking for a new product to try, we recommend the Trader Joe’s Kale Gnocchi (if you can find it before it’s sold off the shelves.)
365 Spinach Ricotta Lasagna
Rounding out our pasta picks, we have the slightly untraditional (yet more than worthy), Spinach Ricotta Lasagna from 365. Whereas many frozen prepared meals often come with hefty ingredient lists and chemical additives, this lasagna does not. Sure to upgrade your pasta night, we recommend giving this crave-able meal a try.
Our sauce picks have to start with Rao’s Homemade Marinara - authentic, organic, and personally a kitchen staple. Rao’s truly is the secret to any delicious pasta recipe. Most definitely Trash Panda Approved.
Good & Gather Basil Pesto
For our pesto pick, we’re going with Good & Gather’s Basil Pesto Sauce. Conveniently available at your local target, we love this pesto’s short ingredient list in addition to its savory flavor.
Trader Joe's Cacio e Pepe Sauce
Made with pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper, this new Trader Joe’s product had people running to their local TJ, and for good reason. we love the readable ingredient list, and this creative sauce is sure to impress.
If you give any of these products a try the next time you host a pasta night, we want to be the first to know. As always, let us know on our Instagram if we missed your favorite product or if you scanned something and saw some unexpected results.
